120 minute rated intumescent painting to Tesco Extra supermarket with 2 floors of underground parking below and 6 floors of apartments above plus 90 minute work to Leisure Centre situated in close proximity which included swimming pool and ice rink.
Fire stopping was also required, along with air & acoustic sealing.
Finally, air leakage testing services were provided to all buildings.
Many modern commercial and industrial buildings are constructed using steelwork frames which require to be protected from fire to allow the occupants to safely get out and the fire services time to extinguish any fires before the building collapses. One of the options used will be the application of thin film intumescent paints.
